Jim Johnson
CEO
Jim Johnson represents the third generation of the Johnson family in the construction industry. Beginning as a laborer, Jim has played an active role in every division of GE Johnson Construction Company.
Following graduation from Kansas State University, Jim gained experience in estimating, project supervision, project management, division management, and business development. He served in the role of Vice President before becoming President and CEO of the company in 1997. In his continuing role as CEO, Jim is responsible for leading the strategic vision, culture, and board of directors of GE Johnson Construction Company, Jim’s passion for community service and client satisfaction drives him as he continues to lead the strategic vision for GE Johnson Construction Company.
Jim serves on several non-profit organization boards and is an avid community supporter.
Jim is an avid runner, and he and his wife have 4 grown children. They enjoy spending time outdoors with their Labrador Retrievers in the mountains of Colorado, spending time at their ranch, and exploring the natural wonders of the world including the South and North Pole!
