GE Johnson Announces Strategic New Hires

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo., April 25, 2019 – GE Johnson Construction Co. announces the hiring of Design Phase Executive Sean Williams and Sustainability Manager April Rice.

Sean Williams joins GE Johnson as design phase executive, bringing more than 12 years of industry experience in various capacities including talents in Lean project delivery.  Williams’ diverse professional resume includes healthcare, hospitality, higher education, and government projects with multiple delivery methods, including design-build and integrated project delivery. He has a propensity for building strong and highly-effective teams and is involved with multiple professional organizations including the Lean Construction Institute (LCI), American Society of Healthcare Engineers (ASHE), and the U.S. Green Building Council.

April Rice joins GE Johnson as sustainability manager, responsible for leading project teams in sustainability practices and collaborating for project certification in Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) and other sustainability building certifications.  Rice has more than 15 years of diverse industry experience including a background in the architectural field and experience certifying healthcare, mixed-use/retail, and educational facilities. She has leveraged her reliability, communication, and project management skills to successfully facilitate teams on more than 20 LEED projects. Rice is involved with the U.S. Green Building Council (USDBC) Colorado and has accreditations as a LEED AP, BD+C and as a Green Building Initiative Green Globes Professional.
