GE Johnson Raises $18,500 for Charity with Eagle County Classic

Eagle, Colo. – Sept. 24, 2018 – GE Johnson Construction Company held its first annual Eagle County Classic golf tournament on Friday, Sept. 14, at the Eagle Ranch Golf Course. Overall, 32 teams participated, raising a combined total of $18,500. These proceeds went to the Eagle Valley Humane Society to support the needs of homeless animals in Eagle County.

GE Johnson has been building in Eagle County for decades, and this golf tournament was a means for GE Johnson to give back to the community who has given so much. Current and past projects include renovations and expansions for Vail Health Hospital and various projects for Eagle County Schools, to name a few.

“Living and working in Eagle County really allows you to see the direct impact we can have. This golf tournament is another fun and inspiring way to support the community,” said Travis Clem, senior project manager for GE Johnson.

GE Johnson is looking forward to hosting this tournament again next year.
