GE Johnson is Now a Member of the National Construction Safety Executives

Colorado Springs, Colo., Oct. 10, 2019 – On October 2, 2019, GE Johnson was invited to join the National Construction Safety Executives, or NCSE. GE Johnson Safety Director Joe Weimerskirch represented the company at the NCSE’s fall meeting, where he presented on GE Johnson’s current safety successes and culture in order to be voted in.

This selective group of top-performing A/E/C companies only allows 30 firms at any given time. Current members include Bechtel, Hensel Phelps, JE Dunn Construction, and Mortenson – just to name a few. Combined, the companies in this group employ more than 300,000 workers.

Weimerskirch explains: “We are ecstatic to be a part of the National Construction Safety Executives. Being selected as a company that is best-in-class in safety is a testament to the work we have done for the past few years to strengthen our safety culture. Our involvement with the NCSE will help us enhance our programming even further and allow us to contribute more to the industry.”
