The Big Picture
The West Stadium Center at Kansas State University serves as the new northwest gateway to the campus, providing football fans with all the amenities they need on game day. The renovated facility includes a new student-athlete dining hall and commissary, a Hall of Honor, improved concessions and restrooms, a ticket office, and a team store. In addition to a Tailgate Terrace for game day festivities, it also features 40 private suites, 36 large boxes, and 800 club seats. The phased project was successfully completed with zero disruptions to football office operations, game day activities, and the adjacent basketball arena.
Ingenuity in Action
With the Big 12 track and field championships and the NCAA basketball regionals held at adjacent facilities during construction, extensive disruption avoidance plans were developed to protect the public. During the football season, 3D site access plans were created and distributed to KSU season ticket holders to ensure their safety.
